Forever Manchester Music Auction Oct 21

Following the success of last year’s Forever Manchester Art Auction, I have been invited to create some new works for this year’s music auction.

Some of the items included in the auction will be:

  • ‘This is the Place’ signed by Noel Gallagher – This coveted book features over 60 creatives from Manchester who collaborated with poet Tony Walsh to turn his famous poem into a book.

  • A VIP Package for the original Manchester band, The Halle Orchestra.

  • A handwritten poem and merchandise by the one and only John Cooper Clarke.

  • Signed drumsticks by Mike Joyce, drummer of The Smiths.

  • Front row seats for a sold out in-conversation with Shaun Ryder and John Robb at Salford Lads Club.

  • Signed Blossoms t-shirt and accompanying CD and Cassette.

There will also be the opportunity to bid for a recording session and track mastering at Black Triangle Studios; a personal message made by broadcaster/ DJ/ musician Clint Boon; and recording a podcast with Capital Radio’s Wingman.

Other music items include a signed box set by New Order; a signed limited edition of Jane Weaver’s current album ‘Flock’, plus a special back catalogue collection from Denise Johnson, alongside a VIP stage-side table for four people at Matt and Phred’s and a guided walk for up to 10 people from The Modernist around Manchester city centre.

Plus, there will be lots of other music-themed signed prints, photographs and artwork by Trevor Johnson, Kevin Cummins, Leo Stanley, Mancsy, Sophie Nixon and many more…

I sketched three iconic Manchester music venues to be auctioned; Matt & Phred’s, The Albert Hall and Night and Day. These three sketches are framed and currently on show as part of my “Return to These Streets” exhbition at 285 Deansgate, Manchester.

The bidding ends at 10 pm on Friday 15th October 2021 and you can see the items here: https://www.uk.givergy.com/manchestermusicauction/?controller=lots&category=All%20Lots
